Good way to start the new year! And a happy new year I hope! It should be if I keep focused on my spending habits and control my checking in a wise matter. Like killing my debt. So where do I start.
Well, I paid $232 on my Visa Card (Limit is $2100, not it's 2124.92) I saw online today I was over $24.92 so I quickly transferred $30 into it. Well later this month, it's going to add another $62 in interest rates. I finally opened an IRA yesterday from my ING account. And...I have $50 in my savings. (Not much but something I started 2 weeks ago.)
I am waiting for my dr's check to clear for $30 and the electricity check ($131) I give to my mom. I will have $154.30 in my checking. Still enough to take out $20 for gas. Then I get 2 paychecks this weekend!
I hope to not go out and stay in this weekend. It's tough being a 23 year old who is begged by her friends to go out. But then again...my friends are not in my finance situation.
I so badly want to go back to school...my savings account is nowhere near the tuition. I'm working on it!! Slowly..but surely.
Jen's saying goodbye to bars and drinks for a long time unless it's ladies night
